We are dedicated to developing the innovators of the future
Hack My Future is a mentor led, education focused non-profit organization based in Dallas, TX. We are committed to the belief that ALL children, no matter their race, gender, or socio-economic status, deserve access to a quality, 21st century, STEM education that will prepare them for a future where technology is embedded in everything they do.
Mentor Led Instruction
We work with the best people in the field
While rewarding, learning to code can be extremely challenging, especially for younger learners. We work with mentors who are the best in their fields from both a technical knowledge perspective, as well as with interpersonal communication and instruction.
Project Based Learning
We always begin with the end in mind
Whether a 1 day camp, or an ongoing coding club, all of our programs involve hands-on projects around topics chosen by student participants.
21st Century Skills
Team building, problem solving, and critical thinking are at the core of everything we do
We believe these 3 concepts to be the most important skills we can teach anyone we work with. Whether our students choose a career in computer science or not, mastering these skills will be valuable for whatever career path they choose.
Code is in Our Blood
Our Founder, Shawn Scott, began coding at the ripe, young age of 7 and has been addicted ever since. Throughout the course of his career, Shawn recognized the need to expose more youth to the field of technology in order to make a more diverse future workplace. This spirit is embedded in everything we do because we know the future depends on it.
We love looking to the future!
Our board of directors is comprised of some of the most talented people in the country who care about STEM education and preparing today’s youth for the future that lies ahead of them.
Join the Revolution
We cannot do this work alone, coding is a team sport. If you believe the future is written in code and want to be a part of preparing the next generation for their future we’d love to talk and see if we can work together. Below are some of are key partners and we’d love to add you to the list.
